Chroma/Tech U-70, extreme viscosity for producing High-Density stencils for specialty printing with plastisol and water-based inks.
Need to print HD features but pre-coated HD films are too expensive & complicated? Just coat your mesh with Chroma/Tech U-70 to get to your desired stencil thickness. With this one product, you can adjust your coating procedure to achieve thick stencils for silicone inks or special effects inks such as glitters/shimmers; or super thick stencils for textured ink deposits; or stupid thick stencils for 3-D effects.
The extreme viscosity keeps the emulsion suspended on the mesh while drying while standard emulsions will tend to slump or drip. With each wet-on-wet coating applied to the squeegee side, the stencil will get thicker.
We recommend SAATI HI-DRO mesh which is a THIN THREAD, creating extra large mesh openings that allow HD inks to more easily pass through the stencil and deposit onto your substrate.

Always use a fan to help skin-over the coating, which allows it to dry smooth as glass. Film positives must be of high quality with UV-blocking ability; do not use laser films.
